Special Delivery...

Whew, finally taking a breathe....

My arm is numb from holding babes...I think the little one has had a tummy ache because he has been unusually cranky today. He is such a good baby that when something is wrong it is easy to spot. I digress (giggle) I love that word.

My weekend was a mess, I must confess. Lots of craziness but I have taken the pleasure of making some extra organizational steps to ensure that this week is not a reflection of the last. Listing, prioritizing and such. We did have a little fun, however. Me and Luca decided to get soaking wet from the sprinklers...he ran around spraying me...but I got him back (giggle, it was so much fun). There was also a little of this...

...playing in the grass

and a treasure hunt...he found flowers (from my garden grrr...oh well) and some awesome rocks!

Oh, I am so excited for tomorrow, one of my dear friends from high school, who just so happened to marry my cousin ...is coming by to visit me and the babes! (yay!). I'm so excited because she is also bringing her new twin girls (they are 3 1/2 months old). She and I were pregnant together and actually had the very same due dates...but with carrying twins she had to deliver early. How awesome though, that we could have actually delivered on the same day! I am chomping at the bits to cuddle these two little girls ( Paige and Sarah)!

A couple of days ago, Canaan received a adorable package from "auntie" Bonnie, my dear friend over at refinedlenses, who unfortunately for me, just recently moved about 12 or so hours away to Florida. Bonnie and I were in the same church group together and taught at the same preschool until I found out I was pregnant and decided to stay home for a bit. Anyway, back to the package...Bonnie sent little Canaan the most adorable things to celebrate his birth and I just had to share them with you all! Inside the package we found....

...what has to be THE most adorable book ever!!! ps- she made the book by hand! Yes, she's awesome!

...and these cute-as-can-be booties (that her sweet grannie made for the babe)!!!

Aren't these the sweetest gifts ever?!?

Canaan was soooo excited he couldn't keep his hands off lol. See what I mean...

hahaha...he was a born reader what can I say...

Oh, and Bonnie, if you're reading this. Canaan has something he wants to tell you...
awwwww....! I know right!!!! a.dor.able!

Bonnie and I spent a lot of our times together crafting, and creating and scheming about what to create and try next. With her gone, I almost feel like I lost my partner in creative crime....Well, as they say, absence makes the heart grow fonder. We love us some Bonnie at the McCoy House ♥
