Well, I guess it's about time it happened...
actually, it should have happened already, but I kinda drug my feet about it all...
what am I talking about?
I am officially not a North Carolina resident anymore...
with a new liscense and liscense plate to boot!
My thoughts on this?
I love my new state...I love my new city...
but I am still a little sad.
I guess it was the last step of this whole leg of the journey that was the Mr.'s new job, new location, an almost new baby, new place to live...and then recently our first home purchase...
getting my liscense changed was kind of like the final exam in a way...
I love an adventure, truly...
I wonder what the next adventure will be...and where it will take us?!

Did any of you all feel this way after an out-of-state move?

It make me feel like a total traitor to the state in which I was born and raised. At least it still has the word "Carolina" in it, so it eases the pain... :(
you should have seen the look on my face when I got my drivers licenses in the mail after I moved to Texas.. and the repeat after I got my ssn & my green care (I'm from canada)... boy oh boy, I felt like I had a whole new identity or something like I was a part of witness protection.. I'm used to it now but I still consider myself Canadian!
