We have germs...

....because our entire little family is sick, sick, sick...and I kinda want my mommy ...lol
Alas, I took my big girl pill, put on my big girl pants...and kicked this cleaning-and-disinfecting-of-the-house in gear....cause let's face it...I'm not going to be able to sleep anyway... That is today...the cleaning and funnery such as that...but this weekend...oh this weekend we were the purest, sickest, yuckiest bums you ever did see....well, we were clean but those germs... yuck! Where's my HAZMAT team when I need it? So, what does a whole family of sick people do on a weekend that is gloomy, rainy and scares a 3 year old to bits with all that thunder? Glad you asked....

...we close the curtains, snuggle up ( yes, I have a snuggie... and its awesome! lol), load the couch up with snacks and watch movies as loud as we can to drown the thunder out...so I get to keep some of the skin and hair on my arms... haha.... Canaan sprawled out on my lap like 10 year old bloodhound.... and stayed there. Folks, that in itself was a small miracle...that kid can walk...and you moms know, that when the walking happens the cuddling tends to disappear...so I was soaking it up! Ps...Don't let a 3 year old watch Rango...if you are worried about language, etc...I lost my marbles that they would cuss in a kid's movie...for an adult or a teenage meh, whatever...but my 3 year old...nuh uh...I was not a happy momma...

I digress....

Oh! I nearly forgot.... I started a sewing project too...because it seems the only time I can get anything done (in the sewing department) is when everyone is half dead...including myself...
Don't pick on my crumbs either...I like to snack when I sew.... its also another hobby of mine...

I don't know how the Mr. made it to work today, but bless him he did... and he gets the trooper award from me...well, because I woke up at work... and there is no dress code, and I don't have to answer the phone if I don't want to... but there wasn't any coffee left sooooooo I am going to have to write a complaint to the manager  (that would be me) about insufficient supplies...because that cannot happen again...lol

Okay, the kids are napping so I think I'm gonna go pass out again... lol
...or maybe finish my book...I just got The Help from the bookstore...and I'm almost done with it!
By far, it has been the best book I have read in a while...and kinda reminds me of some of the sweet ladies that I had the privilege of growing up around... and my grandma, a lot....so yeah, I have nearly bawled my eyes out, and laughed and giggled...my whole way through this book.

Get it!
Like yesterday!

....and tell me? what do you like to do best when you are sick? Do you have a good family remedy? Are you a whiny sick person or a suck it up sick person?
