...since we have gone out nearly every weekend for a while...
we (the Mr. & I ) made a pact to stay home, regroup and
work on some projects we've neglected around the house.
this meant lots of pj's...(even the very mismatched ones...luca...hahaha),
a mountain of the Mr.'s best pancakes, movies,
pillow fights, and 9 million trips to Lowe's because we can't ever
get what we need in one trip...
( guess we technically didn't stay home the entire time...just no "fun stuff"...lol)
Though I like to be on the go a lot, I do, secretly, enjoy these types of weekends...
we get the chance to say hey, " I know you..." because we have been so "in the routine"
all week...we also get to relax...I get to sleep in... which I have really needed lately...
I also witness a lot more of these moments on weekends like these...
Precious moments...when they don't even know I am there...
where playing has consumed the moment
and I can capture raw, in-the-moment pictures..
these were actually taken hours apart from each other...
you could hardly tell it.
...and that, friends, is how we kicked it this weekend...
pretty simple. pretty basic. pretty awesome.

Love the PJ's... especially the mismatched ones!
I love a good quiet weekend... we don't get them a lot and that even makes them better.
We had a weekend just like yours. Except we were sick, but still it was nice just being together. I seriously had to do a double take on fb, b/c my little boy has similar hair and the same pj's haha :)
