the big maple leaves were in abundance today; in our backyard.
we played in them for a bit.
we made a small bonfire,
picked some pine cones for a little holiday decorating project...
a huge pot of ham and cabbage cooked on the stove for most of the afternoon...
the weather was so mild and welcoming it was hard to resist
staying indoors would have been a waste.
kind of hard to believe it's winter around here
but I'm not complaining, not one little bit.
...and this kid? well, he's my sunshine...and he always will be.
Hope you're all having a lovely weekend post- black friday..
that is, assuming you all survived it :)
