We make history daily....

Rainy Sunday thoughts....

My mind is saying keep going, keep going, keep going...
but my heart is saying:
 slow down.
Take a breathe,
remember,
take mental pictures
and write.
We make history daily...
I must make that count.
Catalog these memories for
my children, they are
,by definition,
Tomorrow.
Pray I do this, and them, justice.

I am thankful for these journals...the ones that
have followed me for so many years...the ones I sit with
and think. The ones I pour out all these memories, thoughts,
inspirations and emotions into.
To remember.
To reflect.
To pass down.
To teach.
I am thankful for late nights and rainy Sundays with
these pages, all past and all present.
I hope they read my imperfections, my struggles, my pains...
hope they read how God has helped me..
how I am so imperfect,
because I am.
That they understand the necessity of growth
and faith, and hope.
Sometimes thoughts and written feelings...
send forth a stronger reactions
a more real picture of what is truth.

"And these words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up. "And you shall bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as frontals on your forehead. "And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates."  Deuteronomy 6:6-9
That they never question, "Who was my mother, and what did she believe? What did she love? What were her dreams, for herself and for us.?"

They will know.

Slow down with me? Remember the important things, write them down ,tell someone you love and

Rest.

I was just thinking about starting a little journal with my husband that we can write sweet nothings to each other in. After reading this, now I have to. Thanks!

What a lovely post! I've been inconsistent with my journal keeping, that is one reason why I started a blog, but I do keep a prayer journal. It helps to keep track of who needs prayer, but also to look back and see the awesome answers to prayer! ~ Thanks for stopping by my blog today - it brought me here!
