Ahhhh....home.....
I am happy to say I am typing this from the comfort of my pjs in my own cozy little living room...it feels like it has been an eternity!
We arrived home yesterday after the Mr. suggested we extend the trip another day....because...WE'RE MOVING!!!!! Oh man, to tell you that this has been one of the craziest most hectic weeks of my life would be a slight understatement...rivaled only by maybe my graduation/our wedding/mother's day weekend of 09...when we crammed all the aforementioned items into one weekend! That said, we spent the extra day looking for places to live....we have a grand total of 2, yes 2, weeks to find a new place to live, and move my entire house there...though I am sure it is possible to extend that a little as long as we find a place to live ... friends, what a whirlwind it has been.
I am trying to remember to breathe, to stay calm and let it all happen and fall into place...but with 2 kids, and schedules, nap times, meals, packing, house searching, tying up loose ends.....I have been finding it significantly harder to keep my head above water. I am ever so grateful that the Mr. received this amazing opportunity and for him, I would dive the deep sea, or paint the sky orange....He has fought so hard for a break, searched through so many different avenues battled health and lots of uncertainty to finally get here and he deserves it. So some stress in the mix is ok- to be expected, but I do foresee so tiny breakdowns in my future lol.
I am also aware that I promised you lots of pictures and I am going to absolutely honest....that did not happen friends. Plus, I figured one picture of cranky, tear-stained, tired, hungry, bored and confused children (and probably momma too lol) was enough...actually kinda scary...so all these pictures are from or trip to Charleston and our 1st day in the hotel....we were still well rested at that point ahaha.
I will keep updating you all on our big life transition...that sounds so weird...lol...and don't worry this move will not be the end-all to this blog...at all! If anything, it will give it a whole new dimension with lots of new adventures to talk about and share! So, there may be days/weeks where my post are a little more sporadic but I will be soon be back to scheduled posting soon enough! Thanks to all you wonderful and patient readers, and friends you are so supportive and willing to keep us in your thoughts and prayers and I am so very grateful for you all!
