Welcome to the 2nd ever Flashbax! This should technically be the 3rd but last week's didn't happen for emergency reasons so I am picking it up this week.
While technically not "historical" this week's Flashbax topic is a memorium to the great designer Alexander McQueen.
On January 18, 2010 McQueen participated in the last fashion show of his life. Though many say he left before his time, while he was here, he made a very real and very significant impact on the fashion world as we know it.

Alexander McQueen (1969-2010)
Since 1992, McQueen awed the fashion world with his outrageous designs, his out-of-this-world creations and his futuristic perspective of style. His expertise are no doubt to be missed in the fashion world; those that create and those that partake can only hope for a "predecessor" half as talented as he.
