...the weather was so lovely we took advantage and spent most of
our time outdoors...
the lawn got a little tending too...
...I did a little reading in that yummy fresh-cut grass...
...we let our belly's make an appearance...well, mine didn't but you get the idea...
...we had a nearly successful round of hide-and-seek...
....and the very best part? The Festival!!!!
Oh yes.
The cotton candy, corn dog kind of festival...
the lollipop, funnel cake, carousel kind of festival...
beyond.excited.
....and the kids were too lol
....sheer excitement right there....
they were screaming on the inside, promise.
...the Mr. may or may not have been stalking the funnel cake truck....until he saw the butterfly chip truck...
then he sent me in like a bank robber to scoop up a huge plate full of that succulence...
oh, but unlike a bank robber...I did pay for them...
so that analogy doesn't really work does it?
There were also balloons, 943,586,30202.....people attending (exact number may be a little exaggerated),
and enough art/craft booths to give me a DIY high for a year....
We were able to meet up with some friends and spent the day browsing, riding rides...and getting a sun tan...or burn depending on which half of this family of 4 you look at...I'll let you make the guesses haha.
Oh, and to top it all off....today I got a job! (more on that later) ....God always does provide though doesn't He? Never early, but always, always on time....I know many of you are also in the hunt for a job, are small business owners struggling to make ends meet, etc. and I just want to encourage you... His plan is infinitely more perfect than we can imagine...it may not be glamorous or may not make you a millionaire ...or it may...you never know...but it is exactly what you need. Keep believing. Share with Him your dreams...it is important...and it will be heard. My heart has felt the pain of rejection...the struggle of "not knowing" ...but this is just a season... and at the end you will see the beautiful, magnificent sunlight.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to
prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
